ENTER RUN TO HEAL AS PART OF A SCHOOL TEAM AND WIN BIG FOR YOURSELF AND FOR THE SCHOOL WITH AMP IT UP!
Talk to your Phys Ed Teacher or Sports Co-ordinator about getting your school involved in Run 2 Heal and raise thousands of dollars for your school!
Run2Heal, established by former world marathon champion Allison Roe, is a run/walk of 5 or 10 kilometres designed to get kiwis fit while raising awareness for responsible lifestyle choices and creating funds for health projects.
Run 2 Heal has designed a new sponsorship program for schools called Amp It Up. The purpose is to have school teams sign up for the Run2Heal fun run/walk event, to raise money for the school. Plus there are prizes for individuals!
Students enter Run 2 Heal as part of their school team. Print off one sponsorship form ( Click Here for Form) per student. Sponsorship forms are where students sign up their individual sponsors e.g. a student might be sponsored $1.00 per kilometre and if they take part in the 10k, then they will receive $10.00 from that sponsor. Students are encouraged to sign up as many sponsors as possible. There is a choice of individual prizes for students who raise $100 or more.
Once students have completed Run2Heal and collected all the sponsorship funds, the nominated school co-ordinator will deposit the funds in the Allison Roe Trust bank account at the ASB Bank.
Half the funds raised by the school will be granted back to the school for use in health related school projects. The other half will stay in the trust to be tendered for by local health interest groups. Schools may also tender for trust funds for a health related project.
